It is something the author has specifically expressed discomfort with and an unwillingness to do. It has been reiterated in pretty much every major update along the way, since people keep asking.

So... Please stop asking. It's not cool. I mean, I could care less about what you are into, but stop trying to force it on an author who has expressly indicated they are not into it.

Do you plan to do a Switch version of the game?

Version 3_2f (current version) freezes on Halloween library scene with Tricia.

It depends on which program/framework you are using. In general though, you import the image into the program, and import it as a tile/sprite sheet.

What size are the tiles? :-)
